This beautiful, wooden spectacle frame is made after an original, exhibited find in the Museum of London. It is dated to the 15th-16th century.

The frame consists of 2 parts which are rivited together. This grants the flexibility needed to unfold it to any position which means it fits on every face.

The length of one side (measured from rivet to end of frame) is app. 8cm each.

Medieval spectacles like these have been worn not like today with arms attached to the frame, but with straps fixed to the frame and put behind the ears.

The frame comes without lenses. Every professional optician can fit in the lenses according to your needs.
