Oluttuoppi, savea, 0,5l
This beer mug with a holding capacity of 0.5 l was thrown on the potter's wheel in the same way as it was done in former times.
With the aid of archeological institutes, historic preservation agencies and museums, it was possible to reconstruct this ancient cup. It is made from ocher clay which was fired at 1200°C and is thus extremely sturdy.
For sanitary reasons, it was glazed over the edge. The bottle-green glaze was considered particularly stylish in the 16th century. The glaze is not only food safe but also free from lead compounds and toxic substitutes. The mug is dishwasher safe.
