Viikinkisolki, Lofootit

This disc shaped brooch is based on a viking age find from Kvalnes on the island of Vestvagoy, in the Lofoten Islands in the North of Norway.

The original is housed at the Lofotr Viking Museum and has a bone cabuchon at its Centre. Our version of this brooch has a glass cabuchon in red or blue.  

The brooch is cast in solid pewter.

Its diameter is 4,5 cm.
