Hevosenkenkäsolki, terästä 25mm - Nordlys

This ring brooch (fibula) is made of a hard brass and keeps it´s shape very well. Suitable for the shirt neck, a Cape or similar garments. Shaped like a horseshoe with a pin. The function is a little like a viking age safety pin, but with a nicer design. The fibula is a viking signature item. The finding of a fibula in Canada 1960 convinced archeologists that they had indeed found a viking settlement. The fibula is 6mm thick and the width is 30mm.
